Up close and personal
For this type of photo you really have to use the macro mode on your camera. See how close the photographer got to these little creatures. They are a pair of magnificent partner shrimps that can grow up to 2 cm in size and usually can be found in anemones. You can recognize it by its transparent body with white stripes and the beautiful orange and purple markings on its tail. So the next time you see an anemone, don’t just look for the clown fish but also have a look if you can spot a shrimp as an additional inhabitant.
