The Blue Razor Wrasse lives on our house reef
I love this one, it is only about 15 cm long – OK, I am not counting the funny extension on it’s head. The blue razor wrasse lives in shallow water over sand. It is most tricky to take a photo of this one as it keeps leaning sideways and if you get too close, it completely disappears right into the sand. There is no cave, tunnel or anything; I have tried digging in the sand at the very same spot it seemed to have disappeared into but so far I am unable to tell you were it goes. The blue razor wrasse seems to disappear into thin air or water.
