Surfing in the Laamu Atoll

Our beginners wave just in front of the local island Maamendhoo which breaks over some flat rock with sea grass cover unfortunately did not work at all during this winter season. The only way to keep in shape and do some balance excercise was by Stand up Paddle Board in the Six Senses Laamu lagoon. The famous wave Yin Yang did see a few good days one of them was when this photo of Pete, a surf guide Pete from Australia was taken. Not too bad a wave for “off season”.
